Dear Parents,

Wishing each of you and your families –A Very Happy New Year.

Each New Year offers an exciting opportunity for a fresh start and new beginnings, which is probably why we all look forward to a New Year. No matter what your goals are for the coming year are or how many new year’s resolutions you plan on making for 2020, the start of a new year is a moment to acknowledge. One, to celebrate all of your experiences from 2019; and two, to welcome the New Year ahead.

We start 2020 with a focus on responsibility. Working with students to help them learn to accept personal responsibility is a critical part of what we do each day. Being responsible means others can depend on you. You are accountable for your actions. When things go wrong and you make a mistake, you make amends instead of excuses. When you are responsible, you keep your agreements. You give your best to any job.

We hope all of you have had a restful enjoyable winter break, we know the children have had one. Each one looks bigger and brighter and the enthusiasm they show to get back to their activities is joyful.
